This will be the fourth year I’m participating in the NaPodPoMo challenge, where podcasters publish 30 episodes in 30-days in November, organized by friend-of-the-show Jennifer Navarrete.
The 19th annual NaPodPoMo begins on November 1, 2026. To participate or subscribe to the “megafeed” and listen to all the participating shows, visit napodpomo.org.
I’ve been participating with a sister show of the Outrage Overload podcast (the serious work that I do) called Outrage Science Bites and I’m doing that again this year.
Broadly, I highly recommend podcasters participate in the challenge in some way. Nothing beats ‘seat time’ for improving your podcasting skills. And 30 episodes in 30-days is a lot of time behind the mic. On this show, for example, I only do about 30 episodes per year, so, with the challenge, I’m doing a year’s worth of episodes in a single month! Plus, it’s a great opportunity to experiment with different formats, topic ideas, sound design, etc.
Now the question is whether I’m also going to participate with this show, Monetize This!
If I do, there are a couple of questions/issues: First, do I add this feed to the ‘megafeed’ or would that overwhelm the feed to have two podcasts from the same contributor? Second, would 30 episodes in 30 days overwhelm Monetize This! listeners and possibly confuse guests? Maybe I’m over thinking it, lol.
Let me know what you think in the comments and whether you’re planning to participate this year!
